Procurement Specialist

Fusion People Ltd is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery speed. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers. Ensure that suppliers comply with the company's sustainability and social responsibility requirements.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking. Implement strategies to minimize waste and reduce the environmental impact of inventory management.
- Cost Management: Analyze and track purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs and improve profit margins.
- Logistics and Delivery: Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Select logistics providers who demonstrate a commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and improving energy efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in SAP B1 software or equivalent and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
This position typically operates in an office environment, with occasional travel to suppliers and industry events. A valid driver's license will be required.
