Probation Worksite Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled Probation Worksite Supervisor to join our team at the Ministry of Justice. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will play a crucial role in supporting offenders serving community sentences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising work groups and ensuring that all tasks are carried out to the best of their ability. You will work closely with service users, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise work groups and ensure that all tasks are carried out to the best of their ability.
• Work closely with service users, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to promote rehabilitation and reintegration.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, criminology).
• Experience of working with vulnerable individuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Driving license (category D1 minibus).
