Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Croydon. The successful candidate will work closely with a male sixth form student with learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, and ADHD, providing individualized support to enhance their learning and development.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one support to a student with complex needs, promoting their independence and self-confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with the student's teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility, to ensure the student's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Support the student in developing their social and emotional skills, including communication, problem-solving, and self-regulation.
