Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Director to join our UK tax team. This role will provide a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is driven, entrepreneurial, and constantly looking to challenge the status quo around the UK tax services industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of UK corporate tax, including advisory, compliance, reporting, and governance. Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing tax advisory services to clients, including tax planning, structuring, and due diligence.
  2. Overseeing the preparation and submission of UK corporation tax returns.
  3. Assisting with the design and implementation of a UK corporation tax compliance service offering.
  4. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and senior members of the UK tax team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Significant experience of scoping, leading, and managing UK tax advisory projects.
  2. Experience of working on UK transactions and involvement in diligence and structuring.
  3. Experience of the UK tax return preparation process and good technical understanding of common tax adjusting items.
  4. Knowledge of UK tax accounting and reporting processes under IFRS and UK GAAP.
  5. Experience of responding to and managing HMRC tax enquiries.
