Job Title: Locum Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated pharmacist to join our specialized pharmacy team in Bath.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to oncology patients. They will be responsible for providing aseptic services, supporting the Aseptic Unit managers, and ensuring compliance with National & Local Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide aseptic services to patients in the Trust and associated hospitals.
  • Support section managers in the provision of Aseptics and Clinical Trials services.
  • Act as an Authorised Pharmacist and supervise the day-to-day preparation of products.
  • Work closely with Aseptic Services Technicians and Senior Pharmacy Technicians to prioritise workload and day-to-day operation of SACT services.
  • Ensure PASU is operating in accordance with current legislation and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Significant experience in aseptic, oncology, and or haematology within a secondary care setting.
  • Competitive hourly rate.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Gain experience in a leading cancer services department.
