**Job Title:** Strategic Practice Educator

**Location:** Hybrid remote in London

**Salary Range:** £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

As a Strategic Practice Educator, you'll play a key role in delivering our social work curriculum, contributing knowledge and expertise to support the development of our practice tutors.

**About the Role:**

We're seeking a registered social worker with experience in teaching and learning to join our team. You'll be responsible for teaching and developing participants at the Readiness to Practice stage, regional teaching days, and participant hubs within local authorities. Your ability to provide support, challenge, and guidance to participants and Consultant Social Workers (CSWs) will ensure a high-quality practice learning experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support CSWs to lead the hubs, role model best social work practice, and support effective practice educators.
  • Teach participants at the Readiness for Practice stage both in person and online.
  • Attend face-to-face regional recall days and whole cohort online teaching.
  • Provide one-to-one support as necessary to participants in year 2 of the programme.

**Requirements:**

  • Current registration with the relevant UK social work regulatory body.
  • Experience in teaching and learning, with an intellectual curiosity to challenge and develop your own ideas by keeping up-to-date with current research and evidence.
