Mobile Tail Lift Engineer Job Description

An award-winning commercial vehicle maintenance company, specialising in tail lifts, is seeking an experienced mobile tail lift engineer to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs of commercial vehicle tail lifts
  • Undertake LOLER weight testing and repairs
  • Perform commercial vehicle body repairs and replace exterior body parts, including wing mirrors and trim
Requirements:
  • Previous commercial vehicle tail lift service, maintenance, and repair work is essential
  • Knowledge of relevant LOLER or PUWER regulations for lifting equipment
  • Any welding or basic fabrication experience would be an advantage
  • Relevant electrical experience is expected
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent self-motivation and organisational skills
Benefits:
  • Overtime and call-out/standby rates are paid
  • Call-outs of 1-2 nights per week and weekends on a one-in-four week rota
  • 45 contracted hours per week
  • Immediate starts are available

Benefits include door-to-door payments, on-call bonus, company pension, fully equipped company van, and a friendly working culture.
