Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Opportunity

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our industrial client in Kirkcaldy. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance support to each manufacturing department on a daily basis, adhering to good engineering practices.
  • Implement planned maintenance activities throughout the facility, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
  • Locate and fix electrical and mechanical defects, including PLC control systems, and make necessary modifications.
  • Install, identify, and repair DC and AC drives, as required.
  • Participate in process optimization initiatives to reduce idle times and increase departmental productivity.
Requirements:
  • Engineering apprenticeship and experience working in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of HV systems and Compex certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to provide engineering assistance to all production departments.
What We Offer:

The successful candidate will receive access to an on-site familiarization program, which will be carried out throughout the first 6 months of employment.
