Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Company: Airborne ISR

Purpose of the role: The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure compliance with contract and aviation regulatory requirements. Proactively manage the identification of quality issues/concerns both internal and external customer originated. Support the Accountable Manager's and Cyber, Space & Training Quality Manager with defined Quality Key Performance Indicators. Reviewing changes to requirements and facilitating change management with the relevant stakeholders. Promoting a Quality culture within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure Airborne ISR remains compliant with multiple Military and Civil aviation regulatory approvals, and adheres to Raytheon's code of conduct and business practices.
  2. Commit personal time and energy to pursuing improvements and innovations across the business and is quality focused.
  3. Promote risk-based thinking in regards to regulatory and contractual compliance.
  4. Promote change management within the organization.
  5. Ability to generate business metrics.
  6. Ability to review and assess business metrics to recommend improvements to the Business Management System (BMS).
  7. Maintenance of compliance mapping toolsets and Quality Management System (QMS) management software.
Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Security Clearance (SC) (current)
  2. QMS Lead Auditor certification.
  3. Strong background in Proactive / Predictive Maintenance Techniques, 8D (RRCA) with sound knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  4. Recent experience in Aviation Quality Systems.
  5. Regulatory training in one or more of the following regulations: Part 145, Part 21G, Part 21J, Military Aviation Operating Standards (MAOS), Defense Aviation Operating Standards (DAOS), Civil Aviation Operating Standards (CFAOS), AS9110.
  6. Willingness to learn.

Desirable:

  1. Working knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Flows, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
