Job Title: Unqualified Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join our client school in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are considering a career in teaching and are keen to gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively.
  • Provide support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete their work.
  • Work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and staff as required.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and classroom management, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
  • Confidence in supervising and engaging with students.
  • Ability to follow pre-set lesson plans and instructions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects.
  • A passion for education and supporting students' learning progress.
