Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a Chief Engineer - Architecture to join our team in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our submarine programmes, and will work closely with our engineering management team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

About the Role:

As a Chief Engineer - Architecture, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to our engineering team. You will develop and maintain logical, physical and functional system architectures, and ensure that all designs are compliant with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical guidance to other engineers and support the engineering management team in planning and controlling specialist activities.
  • Supporting the development of estimates for the scope of work and resources required to deliver it in order to support bids, proposal development and project planning activities from a process and governance perspective.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A STEM related degree or previous experience within the Automotive/Defence/Telecommunications/Nuclear environment.
  • INCOSE membership.
