The Director of Accounting & Financial Control is responsible for the financial management and reporting of multiple business units, managing a senior team to deliver accurate consolidated results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting the Director of Finance in maintaining the overall financial stability and strategy of the business units.
  2. Leading a senior team in developing and implementing robust accounting processes.
  3. Delivering timely and accurate financial results with supporting commentary across UK and European territories.
  4. Enhancing the control environment by ensuring authorisation layers, segregation of duties, and functional role allocation across multiple business units.
  5. Driving improvement in our Financial Operations departments, focusing on customer-centric invoicing and payment collection processes, as well as revenue assurance for the business.
  6. Challenging internal processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  7. Leading transformational change to set up the team for growth, including structure, data strategy, processes, and controls.
  8. Developing and maintaining relationships with financial partners, including finance providers, funding houses, and banks.

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a defined contribution pension scheme, performance bonus, enhanced maternity pay, cycle to work scheme, and electric car scheme. The estimated annual salary for this position is £80,000 - £120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
