Job Description:

A leading retail company in Glasgow seeks an experienced IT Delivery Manager to act as a key liaison between stakeholders and the IT team. The successful candidate will oversee the management and coordination of project delivery to ensure smooth implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the primary point of contact between IT and business stakeholders to understand technology demands.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with centre and departmental contacts to facilitate effective communication.
  3. Manage IT business partnerships and ensure business demand is captured within the IT budgeting process.
  4. Ensure business colleagues are aware of IT policies and processes to maintain governance strategy.
  5. Coordinate all aspects of delivery for projects, including centre-specific initiatives and group technology projects.
  6. Report delivery status to line management, including deliverables, issues, risks, and resource management.
  7. Adhere to IT governance processes and standards, including technical authority, project governance, quality gates, change management, and service introduction.
Requirements:
  1. Understanding of industry-standard network architectures.
  2. Practical knowledge of network technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, layer 3 routing protocols, subnetting, QoS, and VLANs.
  3. Experience with multi-site infrastructure support is desirable.
  4. Video conference deployment and networking skills.
  5. Awareness of current technical options for server, print, network, desktop, laptop, and mobile computing equipment configuration and connectivity.
  6. IT delivery management experience is required.
  7. Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall), reporting, and budget management are essential.
