Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team at PROMAN Recruitment. As a Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing a dual role, which includes driving a delivery van and working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Driver:
    • Pack and load products onto vans according to company specifications
    • Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
    • Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
    • Unload goods as per client specifications
    • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
    • Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
  • Warehouse Operative:
    • Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
    • Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
    • Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
    • Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
    • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Flexible
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good timekeeping
