Job Title: CNC Setter and Operator

About the Role:
Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Setter and Operator to join our client's modern manufacturing site in Nottingham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for operating and setting CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set and operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Turning Machines within your Cell.
• Adjust machine controls (Fanuc and Mazatrol) and tool settings to keep part dimensions within specified tolerances.
• Work from CAD designs and specifications to complete various machining operations using information such as dimensions, tolerances, quantities, and any special instructions.
• Responsible for own quality using CMM and shadowgraph machines.
• Alter offsets according to SPC results.

• £28k to £33k basic salary (+10% shift premium payable on the afternoon shifts, OR +20% on perm nights).

Shifts:
• Week 1: Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-1pm.
• Week 2: Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm, Fri 1pm-8pm (10% shift premium paid on these shifts) OR Sunday 11pm - 6am, and Mon to Thurs 10pm to 6am (20% shift premium on perm nights).
