Job Summary:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with faculty members to support teaching efforts in a primary school setting. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, providing support to students, and helping with classroom management.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the subject teacher.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, including SEMH, ASC, MLD, and ADHD.
- Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help the teacher assess student progress and maintain records of achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Support the school's behavior management policies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assist with maintaining classroom discipline and engaging students in learning activities.
We are looking for a highly motivated and caring individual who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs. Please note that this is a part-time/full-time role, and the salary is £95 to £110 per day.
