About the Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead our central team in commissioning services, letting and managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with new legislation. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our procurement and contract management processes, focusing on achieving value for money, reducing risk, and ensuring high-performing provision of services tailored to our community's needs.

As a CIPS-qualified professional, you will apply a pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach to working with colleagues, promoting the joint benefits of compliance, commerciality, and enhanced outcomes. You will work to ensure that our organisation engages effectively with the market and adopts a collaborative and transparent approach to designing and evaluating services that make a real difference to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
