Orion Electrotech is seeking a skilled Regional Service Director to lead our Service Centre in Livingston, Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our Service Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise the use of resources available to the Service Centre
- Ensure service technicians complete work to the highest mechanical standards
- Monitor and control depot overheads to stay within budget
- Continuously improve Service Centre staff efficiency, productivity, and utilisation
- Provide technical support to problem jobs
- Ensure correct levels of parts are held in the Service Centre parts department and technicians' vans
- Achieve high levels of 'Fixed First Visit'
- Approve holidays within the Service Centre
- Identify technician training needs
- Conduct annual and probationary personal appraisals
- Make regular customer visits as required
- Control contracts
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a service manager role
- Comfortable in a customer-facing environment
- From a special purpose vehicle, plant, manual handling, or HGV background
- Good communication skills
- Experienced with SAP system (desirable)
- Good management experience
- Clean driving licence
