Job Title: Senior Principal Designer

Brandon James Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Designer to join their team in the North West. As a Senior Principal Designer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and managing design risk on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations
  • Managing design risk and ensuring health and safety considerations are integrated into the design process
  • Coordinating with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conducting design reviews and providing guidance on best practices
  • Preparing and reviewing pre-construction information and health and safety files
Requirements:
  • 1 + years' experience in a Principal Designer role within the construction industry
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, construction management)
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
