Part-Time Caretaker

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Caretaker to join our team at Ty Castan, a state-of-the-art education centre in Pontypridd. As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site, including maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping tasks.

• Conduct daily inspections of the site to identify and address any issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any incidents or concerns
• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and pupils
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting and responding to alarm systems
• Support the Head of Alternative Learning in ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in facilities management or a related field, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
