Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Berkhamsted School. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain teaching experience, develop your skills, and contribute to the academic success of our students.

Key Details:

  • Location: Berkhamsted School, Hertfordshire
  • Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term contract until July 2026

Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the planning and delivery of language lessons to students aged 11-18
  • To support the development of language curriculum and resources
  • To provide individualized support to students who require additional help
  • To contribute to the overall academic life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events

Requirements:

  • A good honours degree in a relevant subject (e.g. languages, linguistics)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
