About the Opportunity

At Jacobs, we're seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HVAC Capability team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional HVAC and Building Services solutions to our clients.

Your Impact

As an HVAC Systems Design Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our clients' projects. You'll work closely with our team to design and deliver HVAC systems that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver HVAC systems for various industrial processes, including nuclear facilities
  • Develop and implement thermal modeling techniques to optimize HVAC system performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, including EG_0_1738_1 - Ventilation of Radioactive Areas
Requirements
  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or minimum HND plus 10 years' experience in the industry
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Hevacomp, Revit, and Pipenet
  • Thermal modeling experience and knowledge of AutoCAD packages
  • Demonstrable experience in a regulated industry, preferably in nuclear standards and processes
