About the Role:

The Data Governance Manager will utilize a variety of tools, best practices, and processes to deliver exceptional data governance solutions for clients. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with ETL processes, possess experience with SQL, and have knowledge of cloud-based backend data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Global, Regional, and Local ad ops & account teams to ensure client guidelines, processes, and best practice rules are being followed, and relevant taxonomies are devised and implemented.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and communications.
  • Develop operational best practices across digital teams and agency channels.
  • Monitor existing processes to ensure ongoing improvements are developed and communicated.
  • Partner with creative and web agencies to drive operational efficiencies in ad-serving, reporting, and analytics through automated processes and modern technologies.
  • Deliver new and maintain existing media performance visualization and reporting solutions.
  • Work with the wider team to develop end-to-end solutions from scope development through delivery of the final product.
  • Ensure agreed service level agreements on trafficking, tag, and campaign management are observed.
  • Drive ongoing improvements to the data management process.
  • Integrate new analytics tools and data sources into existing dashboards.
  • Collaborate with account teams to translate client briefs into tangible outputs.
  • Educate teams on best practices in taxonomy application, document writing, and training guides.
  • Contribute to the continued learning and development of the data governance discipline through skill sharing and mentoring junior team members.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • Experience in media, marketing, or creative agency experience in reporting or data governance.
  • Strong understanding of the entire media data ecosystem.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across markets and agencies.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot numerical and technical problems.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions to multi-channel tracking, de-duplication, cross-channel reporting, and attribution.
  • Working knowledge of adtech platforms.
  • Desirable experience using ETL tools and data warehousing techniques.
  • Big picture thinking with the ability to design solutions and project manage through to delivery.
  • Experience working with Datorama and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
