Nurse Care Specialist

As a Nurse Care Specialist with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our customers. This will involve leading a team of support staff to ensure the smooth management of shifts, prioritizing tasks, and delegating activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to customers with physical disabilities.
- Lead a team of support staff to ensure efficient shift management.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure effective care delivery.
- Work flexibly within rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the NMC.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice.
- Effective nursing practice in basic registered nurse procedures.
About the Role:
This is a Bank position to provide cover as and when needed. Shifts can range from 07:00-19:30 (12 hours) to 19:00-07:30 (12 hours). A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday, and a weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Newlands House is a home for 35 people with physical disabilities, with a Good CQC rating. Due to limited public transport, you will need access to transport or live in the Netherseal area.
