We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
  • Develop and manage the bid team to meet business needs.
  • Lead the commercial tendering process, ensuring timely visibility of opportunities and managing bids from start to finish.
  • Contribute to the bid/no bid process and decision-making.
  • Oversee the bid team during the bid process, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Develop a winning strategy, identifying unique selling points and understanding customer requirements.
  • Collate bid feedback and prepare high-quality responses for future use.
  • Research, write, and prepare pre-qualification and tender documents.
  • Attend departmental meetings and liaise with the head of department to support implementation plans.
  • Review contract performance by collating data and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Experience in bid writing and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize a busy workload.
  • Customer relationship focus and UK driving license.
