Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer with an electrical bias to support the Engineering Manager in overseeing site operations, ensuring high standards are met. This role involves diagnosing faults, identifying problems on site, and implementing solutions.

  1. As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work, focusing on building upkeep and equipment maintenance.

  2. You will oversee services related to electric maintenance, mechanics, hydraulics, carpentry, and masonry, substituting, changing, cleaning, repairing, and installing pieces, components, and equipment.

  3. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities, performing electrical repairs of fixtures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Scheduling repairs, renovations projects, waste reduction improvements, and safety inspections, planning budgets, and scheduling facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labour, materials, and other related costs.

  2. Maintaining all equipment necessary to perform work, conducting periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.

Requirements

  1. A trade apprenticeship with minimum 5 years' practical experience in the Industry; Maintenance or Installation background considered.

  2. Qualification: O.N.C. or C & G Certificate, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering.

  3. Proven ability in fault finding.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £43,000-£44,000 per annum, plus a 7% yearly bonus, located in the Deeside area. Double days Monday to Friday provide an excellent work-life balance.
