Job Title: Medical/Independent Prescriber

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Independent Prescriber to join our team at Via Westminster Drug Project. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide specialist support to individuals with problematic substance use, working closely with our healthcare staff and external partners to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support to our Via CWAC service staff and clinical supervision to healthcare staff within the service.
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with GPs and pharmacies to provide clinical link and support, ensuring effective treatment services for individuals with substance use issues.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the service, working closely with our local management team to achieve contractual output targets.

About the Service

Via CWAC is a fully integrated adult substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions across three treatment hubs. Our service is well-established, highly functioning, and CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions, including blood-borne virus and other holistic health interventions, opioid substitute treatment, and community detoxification.
