We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Solicitor to join our team at Law Absolute Limited on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation in childcare law matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare law, with experience in advocacy before courts and tribunals. They will also have expertise in dealing with a wide range of matters, including:

  • Court Proceedings: CMC's, IRH's, PLO's, and Directions Hearings
  • Childcare Case Management: Handling a personal portfolio of childcare cases
  • Representation: Representing the Council in legal proceedings concerning children in the Family Court
  • Matters: Public Law, Care Proceedings, Adoption, Child Protection, Fostering
  • Document Preparation: Advising, negotiating, and drafting legal documents to the decisions of the Client Directorate and the Council

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of childcare law and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to communicate complex legal information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

The pay rate for this position is between £45-55 per hour. We offer a hybrid working environment and are looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks' notice.
