Candlelight Care is a reputable home care service provider seeking a skilled Home Care Support Professional to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to make a positive impact in people's lives.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of £12.20, paid travel time and mileage, uniform, and a Blue Light Discount Card. Additionally, a £300 welcome bonus is offered.
About the RoleAs a Home Care Support Professional, you will be part of our Discharge to Assess (D2A) Team, which is expanding to provide a short-term care and reablement service in patients' own homes. This service bridges the gap between hospital and home, reducing delayed discharges and improving patient flow.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality support to patients, enabling them to regain their independence and confidence. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills and QualificationsWhile previous care experience is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing person-centered care.
