About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Intervention Tutor to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing advice and guidance to clinical staff, helping to create care plans that support staff and patient safety.

Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and assist with the planning, preparation, and delivery of staff training programs, focusing on de-escalation techniques and physical interventions.
  • Raise awareness about the use of appropriate techniques in managing challenging situations and the use of restraint techniques within the trust.
  • Assist with data collection, evaluation, and course administration of these training programs, as well as any clerical duties related to workforce and statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with and support the operational security team.

Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay

The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings.
