About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&E Process Operator and Maintainer to join our team at Alpheus, a leading provider of water and wastewater asset management services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks associated with operating an industrial wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and non-routine mechanical and electrical inspections, repairs, fault finding, and maintenance
  • Operate and monitor process control systems, including SCADA
  • Conduct routine plant operation duties, including process monitoring, set-point review and adjustment, sampling, laboratory testing, and other general duties
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance plans and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permit requirements and revenue-generating streams for our clients

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a wastewater treatment or anaerobic digestion environment
  • Strong understanding of wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion processes
  • Excellent attitude to health and safety and process safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
