Contract Manager Role at Ivy Resource Group

Ivy Resource Group is a leading provider of recruitment services, and we are currently seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team on a permanent basis in Andover, Hampshire. Our client is a reputable family-run business that specializes in high-end and luxury projects across the south of England.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Contract Manager to oversee the management of contracts from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with clients to understand project requirements and maintaining strong relationships.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and negotiating contract terms, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. They will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, budgets, and timelines, addressing any issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of contracts from inception to completion
  • Liaison with clients to understand project requirements
  • Preparation and negotiation of contract terms
  • Monitoring project progress, budgets, and timelines
  • Coordination with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders
  • Commercial Management: Understanding JCT contracts, managing notifications, claims, and disputes
  • Quality control and safety management
  • Subcontractor agreement management and performance

Requirements:

  • Driving licence and own transport
  • Managed projects valued between £2m and £6m
  • Competency in IT software packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Project, and PDF editing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
