About the Role:

The Mitsubishi Electric Group is seeking a skilled Technical Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site technical support across our complete range of sold products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional levels of customer service and being a solutions provider in all areas of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing all key activities in-line with department standards and company principles.
  • Proactively managing your calendar and bookings to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction post visit.
  • Effectively problem solving to ensure each activity results in clear conclusions and recommendations.
  • Producing concise, well-written technical reports that are submitted on time and in full.
  • Acting in a polite and courteous manner always, providing exceptional levels of customer support when dealing with customers, both on and off site.
  • Complying with Health & Safety in the course of your duties and supporting the administration team in the creation of risk assessments and method statements that adhere to this.
  • Liaising with other areas of the business and engaging positively with outcomes focused on customer centricity and a 'best in industry' service.
  • Tracking, benchmarking, and developing your technical ability on new and existing products to ensure the highest level of knowledge is maintained.

Requirements:

The role requires a good level of technical competence, industry experience, and working knowledge in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Minimum requirements include:

NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Category 1 F-Gas (City & Guilds 2079).

Experience working with Electrical and Electronic components and safe working practices.

Minimum of 5 years industry experience working on Mitsubishi Electric products.

Familiarity and use of Mitsubishi Electric Maintenance Tool.

Training qualifications from Mitsubishi Electric.

CSCS Skills Card.

Driving License.
