Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Engineer to join our team at Subsea 7. As a key member of our Systems Engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of technically robust and optimized system solutions for major projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define system functional requirements and resolve key design decisions
  • Identify and manage technical interfaces, mitigate risks, and design uncertainties
  • Implement design validation processes to ensure delivery of fit-for-purpose and effective design solutions
  • Coordinate the overall system design solution in large, multi-location technical teams
  • Interact with clients to promote our capabilities and differentiators
Requirements:
  • Systems Engineering background with good commercial insight
  • Ability to lead subsea project multi-discipline technical teams
  • Experience of identifying and managing interfaces within the engineering team
  • Strong communication skills – oral, written, and electronic
  • Can demonstrate experience and familiarity with collaborative working practices
  • Prior experience in Design Leadership/Project Management
  • Substantial experience in one or more of the following packages: Subsea Engineering, Flow Assurance, Production Operations, Project Engineering
