About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Professional to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Proclaim changes and enhancements, ensuring thorough testing and prioritising development issues to ensure business effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Develop and Implement Solutions: Create efficient and effective software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Thorough Testing: Ensure all solutions and changes implemented in Proclaim prior to release are thoroughly tested to prevent errors and downtime.
  • Business Analysis: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify gaps in current systems, recommending improvements and best practices.
  • Prioritisation: Prioritise development issues to ensure the operational effectiveness of the business, focusing on high-impact projects.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate resources and timetables with user departments to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify problems and recommend plans of action to resolve them, maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
  • Quality Maintenance: Establish and enforce organisational standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across all software solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training as recommended by the business, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in software engineering, preferably with experience working on Proclaim systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not required.
