About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at our Synexus Clinical Research site in Chorley, Lancashire, United Kingdom. As a key member of our nursing team, you'll be responsible for nursing activities related to clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete all relevant clinical competency training assessments and attend research study protocol training
  • Perform visits, observations, safety reporting, and interventions with participants in accordance with procedures and schedule
  • Carry out pre-screens efficiently and effectively to optimize patient recruitment
  • Encourage patients to continue within the study and participate in future trials
  • Collect, record, and enter study data into source notes, CRF/eCRF, and associated paperwork with high accuracy
  • Ensure timely and efficient resolution of data queries
  • Promote a welcoming, professional, and pleasant environment for staff and participants
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and initiate emergency action when required
  • Conduct clinical procedures, including handling, dispensing, and administering IMP
  • Interact with sponsor representatives to facilitate the monitoring process
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll require:

  • A qualified Nurse with registration with no limitations to practice within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (Adult)
  • A passion for the Clinical Research industry
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team
  • A patient-focused attitude
