We're seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Investment Management Audit and Assurance practice. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee client engagements, help resolve accounting, auditing, and other issues, and drive the delivery of services in a timely and effective way.
About the Role:
- Drive the delivery of high-quality services, exceeding client expectations and delivering results that make a meaningful impact
- Build and nurture strong relationships with teams and clients, establishing trust and confidence in our expertise
- Develop a personal growth plan/strategy around key clients, new business, and network contacts, identifying opportunities for growth and development
- Supervise, develop, and motivate staff, including coaching and career guidance, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Identify and lead the integration of overseas resources, driving efficient execution and delivering value to clients
- Actively monitor and manage engagement economics, ensuring revenue is recognized appropriately throughout the engagement
- Consult and advise clients on technical accounting, auditing, and internal control matters, providing expert guidance and support
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) and strong experience leading audits in the Investment Management/Insurance industry
- Proven leadership skills, demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, and able to manage and motivate teams with members at all levels
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment and independently on multiple assignments or engagements
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in IFRS, UK, US GAAP, or equivalent reporting standards, and ability to present client data in a clear and concise format
