About This Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Ecologist to join our team as a project manager and line manager for junior staff. As a senior member of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of our projects and ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standards.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, including ecology and conservation. You will be responsible for managing projects, conducting fieldwork and desk-based assessments, and working with clients to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project manage projects from start to finish
• Conduct fieldwork and desk-based assessments to inform project decisions
• Work with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Line manage and support junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A degree in a relevant subject (e.g., ecology, biology, environmental science)
• Good report writing skills and experience of producing high-quality PEAs and EIAs
• A full UK driving license

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise and hard work, you will receive a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, plus a generous annual bonus. You will also have the opportunity to work flexibly and take advantage of our hybrid working options.
