Claims Advisor Professional

The successful candidate will have strong insurance claims handling experience, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. They will be responsible for managing claims from various products, including property, liability, marine, and business interruption. The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge of insurance claims procedures, commercial awareness, and Acturis system proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage claims from different products, ensuring service standards are met and exceeded.
- Keep an efficient diary system for all claims, chasing as required.
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of Acturis.
- Provide claims information and reports to the broking department and clients as needed.
- Handle complex claims according to group procedures.
- Acknowledge new claims to clients and insurers, keeping them informed for the best outcome.
- Produce claims MI/claims reports when required.
- Meet with clients to present claims information.
- Undertake other duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.
- Maintain personal CPD, keeping skills and knowledge current.
Requirements:
- Robust insurance claims handling experience, coupled with strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Acturis system knowledge, proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- CII certification or working towards it.
- Highly organized, with great time management skills.
- A positive attitude, with a natural ability to problem-solve and multitask.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a generous holiday allowance, death in service benefit, company pension scheme, maternity and paternity leave packages, and a flexible benefits package.
