Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer/DevOps to join our team in Hemel Hempstead, Herts. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners.
  • Implement and improve monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Build and maintain highly available systems, including databases, APIs, and server-side applications.
  • Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies to improve our infrastructure and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect user data and ensure system integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Working familiarity with zero-trust designs and authentication & authorization solutions.
  • Experience with multi-stage Docker files, Azure DevOps Pipeline (YAML), and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with a range of databases, including Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
  • Strong understanding of cloud network design, network/application-level security, and observability and monitoring in a multi-tenant cloud.
  • Experience working in high-performing Agile teams and contributing to new standard practices.
  • Proficient development in a major programming language, such as C#, Python,.net, and Typescript.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and design aesthetics.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code.
  • Integration, customization, and support experience.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, structured query language (PL/SQL), and relational database design.
