About the Role

Permanent Futures is seeking a highly skilled Master Planner to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective provisioning of parts from suppliers overseas and UK suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling, with experience in a manufacturing company. You will be responsible for defining and controlling the detailed manufacturing plan, maintaining inventory and work-in-progress at minimum levels, and ensuring parts in stock meet demanding production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provisioning of parts from suppliers overseas and UK suppliers.
  2. Defining and controlling the detailed manufacturing plan.
  3. Maintaining inventory and work-in-progress at minimum levels.
  4. Ensuring parts in stock meet demanding production schedules.
  5. Strong financial reporting and management.
  6. Contribute to the implementation of proposed task directive changes and new or amended orders.

Requirements

  1. At least five years of experience in a Planning or Scheduling focused role.
  2. Previous work history at a manufacturing company.
  3. Ability to work with Excel and transition to a new MRP system.
