Digital Assets Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Assets Officer to join our Digital Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in championing digital inclusion and promoting the benefits of using online services to our residents.
Your primary responsibility will be to administer and promote our TechMate programme, which aims to provide residents with the skills and knowledge necessary to use technology and the internet effectively and safely. You will work closely with our residents, volunteers, and stakeholders to deliver and promote relevant online tools and services.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of our digital inclusion programme. This will involve identifying opportunities to maximize the impact of our programme and working with our residents and stakeholders to achieve our goals.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of our digital agenda and experience of working with residents to help them get online. You will also need to be able to demonstrate professionalism, a flair for bringing in new volunteers, and the ability to actively promote the benefits of using online services.
You will be passionate about digital inclusion and have a proven track record of making a valuable contribution to our Digital Strategy and the wider GM Strategy. You will also be committed to using an asset-based approach that underpins the principles of Progress with Unity.
