About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Finance Business Partner to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide high-quality financial leadership and support to our directorates, helping us to achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial leadership and support to our directorates, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve financial performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior service leads to provide robust financial management and business support.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, clinicians, and other key partners.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a complex organisation, preferably in the NHS or a similar sector.
  • Experience of working with managers and senior clinical leads, with a strong understanding of financial planning and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret and explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to travel across Wales and other areas of the UK, as required.
