Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced plumber to join our team as a lecturer in plumbing. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial or commercial plumbing and a Level 3 vocational qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs for students
  • Manage and provide effective teaching and learning to support student achievement
  • Contribute to the College's strategic objectives and ensure student retention and achievement targets are met
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for students and staff
  • Ensure adequate resources and materials are provided to enhance learning
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

Requirements:
  • Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing
  • Assessor Award
  • English and Maths at level 2 (GCSE A* to C or equivalent)
  • IV Award
  • A recognised teaching qualification or be willing to obtain within 2 years of appointment
  • Experience of working in a relevant industrial/commercial environment
  • Recent experience of teaching in an FE/HE environment
  • Gas Safe registered
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Full UK driving license
