Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner

Opus People Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Ipswich.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office and 2 days at home. The ideal candidate will have an ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification and experience/knowledge of recruitment operations is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of business partners/management accountants, setting tasks, conducting 121's, and managing conflict within the team.
  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts for the division.
  • Perform full balance sheet reconciliations for the division.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage the month-end timetable and communicate with relevant parties.
  • Manage yearly budget and forecasting cycles.
  • Provide commentary for inclusion board papers.
  • Prepare variance analysis for operational services and support functions within the division.
  • Develop and streamline budgets and forecasting processes within Microsoft Dynamics D365.
  • Develop Power BI reporting tools with the assistance of an in-house developer.
  • Agree, calculate, and report KPIs for each service within the division.
