Job Role: Maritime Systems Specialist

Copello Global is seeking a highly skilled Maritime Systems Specialist to join our Defence Systems Engineering team. This role involves designing and delivering complex, integrated maritime systems for the UK Defence Sector.

About You:

  • You will have a strong background in maritime systems engineering.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
  • You will be responsible for implementing technical processes and methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Familiarity with defence engineering tools and techniques is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver complex, integrated maritime systems for the UK Defence Sector.
  • Implement and support technical processes and methodologies.
  • Lead technical reviews and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ensure timely delivery within budget, meeting company standards and customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maritime systems engineering models, lifecycle planning, and technical reporting.
  • Expertise in requirements development, design, integration, and acceptance.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in maritime systems engineering, software, or hardware engineering.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect, MBSE, SysML, and UML.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with military standards, marine equipment, and safety-critical systems.
  • Knowledge of agile principles and scrum methodologies.
  • INCOSE certification (Associate/Chartered Systems Engineering Professional).
