About the Role
  • We require individuals who can demonstrate empathy, good listening skills, and effective communication skills to work with patients, relatives, and staff.
  • The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, promoting the work of the Chaplaincy and providing pastoral care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Participating in team discussions and training sessions as required
  • Building relationships with patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements
  • Previous experience of pastoral care or a similar role is essential
  • Good understanding of the NHS and its values is required
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances is necessary
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £31,200 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits including annual leave, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
