About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Part-Qualified ACA Audit Trainee to join our Advice, Audit & Accounts team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing client-focused and commercially aware services in an efficient and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and Accounts Services: Carry out audit and accounts assignments for clients across various industries, ensuring high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
  • Client Relationship Management: Promote and market the firm and its services to attract new clients and retain existing relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Partners, Directors, and Managers to deliver assignments and support the development of junior team members.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate a clear understanding of audit testing and approach, prepare financial statements, and draft tax computations.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties, including meeting and greeting clients, filing, and answering queries.
Requirements
  • Currently studying towards the ICAEW ACA qualification, having completed at least all certificate level papers.
  • At least 1 year of audit experience is mandatory, with some experience in accounts and tax being desirable.
  • Technically competent with proficiency in Pro-audit, CCH Accounts Production, Xero accounting, Quickbooks, and Alphatax.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and adapt to changing situations.
