Job Title: Academic Mentor Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students
  • Develop tailored lesson plans based on students’ learning needs
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress
  • Monitor and assess student performance to adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
Required Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field
  • Teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent
  • Valid DBS check
Education:

Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching roles

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:
  • Weekly pay
  • Flexible hours
  • In person or face to face tutoring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
