Relief Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Relief Pharmacist to join our team in Castle Douglas, supporting our stores in the region.

Boots Opticians is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional customer and patient care. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive expert advice and reassurance while enjoying their shopping experience.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering Excellent Patient Care: Provide expert advice and support to customers, listening to their needs and concerns while offering tailored solutions.
• Leading by Example: Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise, inspiring store teams to deliver exceptional results.
• Conducting Reviews and Audits: Continuously assess and improve pharmacy operations to ensure customer and patient safety remains paramount.
• Building Capabilities: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of store teams.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Registration with the Relevant Regulator: Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body.
• High Levels of Professional Expertise: Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of pharmacy operations, national and local services.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with colleagues, patients, and customers, building strong relationships and trust.
• Collaborative Approach: Work collaboratively with the team, sharing ideas and expertise to drive success.
